      The team headed to the last race of the year at Cayuga Speedway for the labour weekend event in conjunction with the Nascar Canadian Tire Series.  The team practiced hard trying to tighten the car up throughout practice.  "The car was extremely loose - it just felt like i was driving on marbles all afternoon" stated Dave.  "We qualifed 7th overall out of the 21 car field, but as soon as we took the green the car just didn't want to get up and go.  We were just slow coming off the corners and finally the engine let go going into turn 4.  I'm really disappointed - we were really quick at Sunset Speedway last weekend and I was hoping to back it up this weekend" says Dave.  This ended the season for the Maple Leaf team with Dave finishing 5th overall in the points even with the engine failure and the crash at Peterborough.
